It’s a strange and constant feeling: they could always have been otherwise, our relationships. More just, more ethical. This show presents situations far removed from this ideal. Recognizable situations that, within the limits of the grotesque, dissect seemingly ridiculous characters and behaviors. Perhaps its common thread is a kind of strange tenderness and an extreme eagerness to learn to love: sometimes in an orthopedic and well-meaning way, sometimes deliberately terrifying. The piece advances according to a vignette map that ends up becoming a generational portrait full of therapies, pets and sentimental problems. Common issues of a large part of Western society that live as true tragedies.

The show winner of the 2021 Critics Award returns to the Street Arts show. An itinerant proposal by Pau Masaló that, telling the story and the operation of the Cemetery of Montjuïc, reflects with critical humour the idiosyncrasy of the city and the character of its inhabitants. A guided tour of the funeral grounds with curious encounters with cemetery workers and fun coral interventions.
