Fernando Atienza, from his fourteen years stealing cars in the shantytowns of Montjuïc, to his thirty-somethings dealing in the alleys adjacent to the Plaza Real, passing through his first youth as a boy for all ambitious financiers of the upper zone, he travels from the Francoism afternoons to the Transition and the ‘92 Olympic dream. But there will be no day that has left more trace in his biography than “the day of the Watusi”: August 15, 1971, the day he saw a body, and even two, for the first time. That foundational moment that, from then on, will accompany you every second of the rest of your life.
