We present Arthur Miller's second play, the success of which led him to dedicate his life to dramatic writing. It is the true story based on real events of Joe Keller and Steve Deever, the owners of an aircraft parts factory which produced faulty parts that caused many deaths during the war. Deever goes to prison, and Keller is exonerated and becomes a wealthy man. Over the years, they and their children suffer from the consequences of the catastrophe, engulfed in a power structure that is almost unbearable. The story is inspired Henrik Ibsen's play The wild duck, which focuses on the issue of taking personal moral and legal responsibility for others

We are bewitched by a spell, blinded by capital - today’s isthmus between the top and the bottom, between good and evil - which offers us the power and the illusion of freedom. Dominated and eternally dissatisfied, we abuse power and exceed authority by creating countless crimes that have brought the world to the brink of collapse. Now that the natural world has been destroyed, we are left with the world of language. We have been cursed because of the harm we have done to our language. An allegory about the power of the word and the delirium of the imagination.

It’s a strange and constant feeling: they could always have been otherwise, our relationships. More just, more ethical. This show presents situations far removed from this ideal. Recognizable situations that, within the limits of the grotesque, dissect seemingly ridiculous characters and behaviors. Perhaps its common thread is a kind of strange tenderness and an extreme eagerness to learn to love: sometimes in an orthopedic and well-meaning way, sometimes deliberately terrifying. The piece advances according to a vignette map that ends up becoming a generational portrait full of therapies, pets and sentimental problems. Common issues of a large part of Western society that live as true tragedies.
